Paul, a member of the Scottish federation of meat traders, was elected as its president in November 2016 - making him the 79th president, leader of Scotlands Butchers in its up comming 100th year anniversary. The demanding role meant travelling to members shops from Dumfries all the way up to Shetlands. Paul was proud to be the president in its 100th year & to attend the Scottish Meat Trades Fair in 2017.
The 100th year of 'The Scottish federation of meat traders' was commemorated with a partnership with Save a life for scotland with an initiative called '‘Scottish Craft Butchers at the Heart of the Community’. Its aim - to collect donations so that life saving defibrillators be install in front of Butcher shops for use in the community.
